A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Who can I nominate?

Any U.S. military veteran whose home needs a new roof, a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or yourself. All branches of service are welcome. Our team will confirm that the property is within our service area and meets the giveaway’s eligibility requirements.

Is the roof really completely free?

Yes. The selected veteran receives a complete roof replacement, including standard materials and installation labor, at no cost. No purchase, donation, or payment is required to nominate someone. We’ll confirm the roof’s scope after a property assessment.

What happens after I submit a nomination?

You’ll see a confirmation with a reference number you can save. Our team personally reviews each nomination and will use your phone number or email to follow up if we need more information or your nominee is selected. Your nomination and their story stay confidential.

Can I nominate myself?

Absolutely. If you’re a veteran whose home could use a new roof, we’d be honored to hear your story. Enter your own name in both name fields and share the best way for our team to reach you.

THE ROOF ER PROMISE

A new roof. A real thank you.

Our Veterans Day roof giveaway honors the people who have protected our country by helping protect a place they call home.

Who can be nominated?

A U.S. military veteran with a home in need of a roof replacement. All branches are welcome, and you can nominate yourself. Roof ER will confirm service-area availability, veteran status, and property ownership or the owner’s permission before a final selection.

What’s included?

One selected veteran receives a new roof, including standard roofing materials and installation labor, at no charge. The final scope is confirmed following a property assessment. There is no cash alternative.

How selection works

Our team personally reviews eligible nominations and the home’s roofing needs. This is a community recognition program, not a random drawing. The selected veteran’s nominator will be contacted directly using the details provided.

A few important details

No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary. A nomination does not guarantee selection. Duplicate nominations do not increase a veteran’s chances. This campaign celebrates Veterans Day, November 11; assessment and installation are scheduled with the recipient.
